…I’ve kind of amazed myself a bit.  This vacation to the Outer Banks has been great so far and the little “project” I decided to do has worked out great.  I really feel like I’ve pushed myself to take some photos that even I didn’t think I was capable of yet.  I’m really happy with the way the shots have turned out, especially the pier, the go-kart track, and of course that lightning shot from Day 3.  If you haven’t seen the whole series of shots, go check out everything I’ve posted in the last 5 days.

Also, major thanks to everyone who has favorited or reblogged my work in the past few days.  It means a lot to know that I’m not the only one who likes the work I’m doing.  There haven’t been a ton of you who’ve done this, but every little bit of exposure helps.  (especially the reblogs. *hint, hint*)

Two more days of posting left.  I haven’t been taking a lot of photos today due to a little bit of “party recovery,” but maybe I’ll get some good stuff later this evening to post.  Also, I plan to post some of the other shots that weren’t originally posted once I get back home.  There are literally thousands to look through.
